“Tahir İle Zühre Masjid”

Tahir and Zühre Masjid, located in Tahir and Zühre District of Konya’s Meram district, is an original example that has survived from the Anatolian Seljuk Principality with its architectural features. Masjid, which is also mentioned as the Sahip Ata Mosque in the sources, consists of a sanctuary, a tomb and a last congregation place. The mausoleum and the sanctuary are covered with a dome, and the last congregation place is covered with a vault. The entrance door, mihrab, mihrab niche draws attention with its surroundings and tile decorations on its dome.
